Greetings, Caddo Hills School District students, families, and community supporters.
Welcome to the 2024-25 School Year. I am excited to Dream Big with our community this year. Your support and involvement are crucial as we strive to preserve our rich history of educational excellence and lead the way through innovation. We are proud to be a National Beta District of Distinction for the past two years, with our Jr. and Sr. Beta programs excelling at the state and national levels. Our Indians excel in every direction through their academic progress, community involvement, and commitment to leadership.
This past year, we allocated our final charter school grant dollars to complete our APSRC investment of $1.25 million. Our school provides eight career programs with eleven pathways that support our students' interests and industry needs regionally. Seven of the paths lead to an Arkansas Diploma with Merit designation. Each program area has demonstrated success through their respective Career and Technical Student Organizations, Work-Based Learning opportunities, and Industry Partnerships. This past year, we recognized multiple state champions in their program areas. We are excited to see these programs' continued growth and success on our campus. We want to continue to add value through our pathway programming by adding additional support through a full-time Career Coach on campus, a robust Work-Based Learning program placing students in career fields while in high school, and advanced coursework that will allow for pre-apprenticeships.
Caddo Academy is committed to preparing students for Life! Through the partnership with the University of Arkansas Rich Mountain, we are committed to providing students with acceleration and concurrent credit opportunities. We have completed the second year of a curriculum review in English, math, and science. Our teachers are focused on providing students with personalized learning that fits the needs of each student every day. I am proud of the hard work and dedication our educators put into everything they do. Our students are nurtured in an environment that supports innovation and builds on the strong educational and social foundation laid at Caddo Hills Elementary.
This year, we aim to inspire every student to Dream Big for their future. Through student success planning, community involvement, and a commitment to service, we know our Indians will lead the way for a brighter future. Thank you for the opportunity to serve your child this school year.
